Is your phone distracting you from focusing on your loved ones? Do your children compete with your phone for your attention? Is your smartphone keeping you from being fully present when you are in at home with your family or friends? Have you stopped to ask yourself what kind of behavior you are modeling for your children?
Here’s my challenge to you. When you get home from work, turn your phone on ‘Do Not Disturb’. Place it in a drawer in the other room. Focus on the others in your home. This may be more challenging than you anticipate if you haven’t done it before. But, with time, you’ll develop this habit and be so thankful that you did!
