Are you a ‘people pleaser’? Do you have difficulty telling others no? If so, ask yourself, “How often am I making commitments that I am unable to keep? How often am I late or delayed in fulfilling a request?” Every single time you neglect to follow through with a commitment on time, others lose confidence in you. Do yourself a favor… Before you commit, think through your obligations and plans to fulfill the request. If you must, take the pain upfront and tell the person ‘no’ or ‘not now’.
